The first lines of Christopher Dickey's "Turning
to God's Time." Newsweek International, The July 25 - Aug. 1, 2005
Issue: "In Rome's magnificent Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs
Basilica, what used to be called "God's time" is plain to see. Shafts
of light penetrate holes in the vaulted ceilings, casting their rays on
the days and the hours and the signs of the zodiac embedded in the
floor. The building, designed by Michelangelo within the walls of
ancient Roman baths, is an enormous solar clock, a vivid reminder that
through most of human history, we synchronized our lives with the
heavens." And his last lines: "Indeed,
to balance one's inner clock with God's time and the demands of global
business: that's not just a luxury, that's the key to a good life."
And here is how we suggest you
balance your inner clock with God's time [more scientifically called
"local solar time"]* . . . With your cursor on the dynamic yin yang
Synclecron/HS demo below, hold the left-click part of your mouse down.
You will see "natural time in real-time" within your time zone at the
equator — "esoterically" displayed via flowing &
ebbing "Horus of the Dual Horizon" sun-for-day and moon-for-night
hieroglyphs! AND NOTE that when you enter your latitude and your
longitude via "PERSONALIZE Your Synclecron/HS Clock",
alternating sun-means-day and moon-means-night hieroglyphic passages of
your local solar daytime and your local
solar nighttime will be auto-adjusted to your specific location
in time and space.
Perhaps you might even consider taking part in our increasingly popular
Grand Experiment known as "Horuscopus Solymonus". Our grand experiment
encourages you to keep track of the results of experiencing that
"miraculous" point in time and space (your time and your space) when
and where the solar and lunar cycles of pre-orthodox astrology &
astronomy (e.g., Stonehenge archaeoastronomy)
meet the solar and lunar cycles of a very important-to-your health new
post-modern science that goes by the very cool name
"chronoastrobiology. As you can see
and later hear for yourself,
chrononastrobiology (more frequently known by the less cool name
"chronobiology" as per the Science Friday radio segment featured below)
is as real as any other parts of physics and biology.
Even if our "Horuscopus Solymonus" project is not for you, enjoy going
both backwards and forwards to our pre-orthodox and post-modern
method of experiencing the passage of your day and your
night in an especially natural, "dynamic yin yang" way.
 |
*To recreate a pre-orthodox, personalized to your place in time and space, computerized version of a kind of
post-modern Stonehenge or Egyptian or Mayan pyramid "Synclecron", just enter
your geographic location at the "PERSONALIZE" link above. Your version of the
Synclecron/HS is then immediately enabled to display the passings of your local daytime
and local nighttime.
OR for where you are right now, just imagine a sun-like hieroglyph beginning as a dot on the
horizon at your local instant/instance of sunrise, growing to a large circle
at your local instance of high noon, and becoming dot again at your local instance/instant of sunset,
and then the same thing happening with a moon-like hieroglyph starting
as a dot at local sunset, growing to a large circle at the local middle of the
night and becoming a dot again at the next instant/instance of local sunrise.

How special is the Synclecron/HS? Well, consider this. Just like the Prague Astronomical Clock(built in 1410 by a Masonic lodge of stonemasons,
which has a astronomical dial shaped like an astrolabe, the "natural time in real time" portion of the Synclrecron/HS hieroglyphically portrays hours in the same natural way that the passages of day and night was portrayed in ancient Sumer, China, India, Israel, Greece, and Rome -- and up through pre-modern times: the hours of each new day are calculated as 1/12th of the time between that day's sunrise and sunset, and the hours of each night are calculated as 1/12th of the time between that night's sunset and sunrise -- and
thus the hours of each day and night VARY as days and nights grow longer and then shorter during the year!

Some say our "natural time in real-time" clock and screen-saver is pre-orthodox . . .
|

"Thou hast gotten possession
of the two eyes of Horus [Ra the sun and Thoth the moon], thou hast
taken them unto thyself and they illumine thy face.[10] The day hath
made an offering unto thee in heaven, and the East and the West are at
peace with thee; the night hath made an offering[11] unto thee, and the
North and the South are at peace with thee. These are the offerings
which are brought unto thee, the offerings which thou seest, the
offerings which thou hearest, the offerings which are before thee, the
offerings which are behind thee, the offerings which are with thee.
From The Egyptian Book of the Dead, circa 1240 B.C.
Some say what is "revealed" above is a
post-modern kind of temporal Yin Yang . . .

"Natural time in real time" --
Can't hurt, might help a lot!
Some even say that a new day is rising, and that each of us is experiencing parts of it.
For example, Christopher Locke, Rick Levine, Doc Searls & David Weinberger (high
priests of the "mystic bourgeoisie"), in their book Cluetrain Manifesto
say that there is "Something ancient, elemental, sacred, something very very
funny that's broken loose in the pipes and wires of the twenty-first
century." Well, whatever their "It" is, isn't it time for you to be more
naturally "at one" again with that "it" called real time?
And what easier way to be at one with
your natural time than by using the exciting new Synclecron (pronounced "sync-le-cron"), with its
display of the passage of day and night personalized to your own
geographic location.
Is the patent-pending Synclecron really
scientific and practical, not just some cute gimmick? Well, listen to
this Science Friday radio segment on Chronobiology (aka,
chronoastrobiology) and decide for yourself.

One man's night is another man's day.
Paul Davies, author of God and The New Physics, and winner of the $1MM Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion: "We have to find a framework
of ideas that provides ordinary people with some broader context to their lives than just the daily round, a
framework that links them to each other, to nature, and to the wider
universe in a meaningful way, that yields a common set of principles
around which peoples of all cultures can make ethical decisions yet
remains honest in the face of scientific knowledge; indeed, that
celebrates that knowledge alongside other human insights and inspirations."
And yet, Dr. Davies, and with all due respect, as there are so many common pairs of words that are complementary opposites, pairs such
as "day" vs. "night", "das" vs. "nicht", and "da" vs. "nyet", and even "the" vs. "not" -- perhaps those "daily rounds" day and night cycles of yours (and ours) aren't so devoid of
practical and maybe even theological meaning after all?
In any case, is it not time for "ordinary" people to re-balance what gets out-of-sync when
all of us are forced to limit ourselves to "corporate time", for example, in windowless cubicles, offices and/or other
unnatural "corporate" environments!

So instead of worshipping the human ingenuity expressed in a $21,000 Breguet La Tradition,
why not rediscover for your Self the awesome generative and regenerative power of natural
simplicity. E.g., begin experimenting with natural time in real time using your free "le Sync" clock and screen-saver! (To find out more, just ask!)
And why not also spread the word about
"natural time in real-time" to family and friends both by email -- and also by wearing -- and giving -- MyTime and OurTime "When-And-Where Wear to commemorate the "whens and where's" of life-changing important events such as birthdays and anniversaries.
(Plus, this coming June, check out our new Synclecron/CV
"Calendarus Veritasus", our naturally aligned seasons of the year calendar (generously contributed by Mr. C. "Where others speak of spirituality, I seek a more earthly transcendence" Vail.)
